Cam-Type Series Selection Guide: Reading This Datasheet
The CAM Type table is short — two frame sizes covering 14-63mm and 57-114mm OD — because the concept is deliberately simple: a cam lever snaps the machine onto small-bore pipe in one motion, centered and locked without threading a chuck. It is the fastest OD-mounted clamping in the range, built for crews beveling hundreds of small-bore joints per shift.
- SCB/SCP-63 covers 14-63mm, SCB/SCP-114 covers 57-114mm; the 57-63mm overlap means either frame handles 2" pipe.
- Cam clamping trades grip force for speed — for heavy wall above 12mm or alloy pipe, use the block-clamp ISC Series instead.
- The two drive variants are listed in the legend below: choose SCP pneumatic when air is the site power standard, SCB otherwise.
- Sub-2" stainless tube with thin walls is better served by the LPM facing tools — squaring, not beveling, is usually what those joints need.
