ISC Block Type Series Selection Guide: Reading This Datasheet
ISC machines clamp on the pipe outside diameter with a bidirectional block vise — four sizes covering 25-114mm OD, the small-bore range where chucks and clamshells get clumsy. The block clamp grips from two directions at once, so thin small-bore pipe is held square without crushing, and the compact head suits bench or on-pipe use in fabrication of instrument lines, headers and manifolds.
- Ranges step tightly — ISC-63C (25-63mm), ISC-76C (25-76mm), ISC-89C (63-89mm), ISC-114C (76-114mm); buy around the sizes that dominate your work rather than the widest single window.
- Wall capacity is 12mm across the series, ample for small-bore schedule pipe including Sch 160 below 2".
- The ISCP pneumatic variant covers hazardous-area and wet-site work where electric drives are ruled out.
- For quick repetitive clamping on the same small-bore range, compare the cam-lever CAM Type Series — faster per cycle, lighter grip.
