HDL Handheld Beveler Demo

Watch the HDL Handheld Series multi-function beveler in action. Portable beveling solution for plates, curves, and holes.

This demonstration shows the HDL Handheld Series — a one-hand portable beveler that handles the three edge types most fabrication jobs throw at you: straight plate edges, curved surfaces, and circular openings.

What the Video Shows

The operator guides the machine along a plate edge freehand, letting the guide bearing control bevel width while the milling head cuts a clean chamfer. The same tool then moves to a curved workpiece and the inside of a cut hole — geometries that bench-mounted bevelers cannot reach at all. This flexibility is the HDL’s core advantage: one compact tool replaces grinding for nearly all small-to-medium edge prep in the shop or on site.

Series Capabilities

  • Bevel width: 1-15mm, adjustable
  • Bevel angles: 30° / 45° / 60°
  • Minimum workpiece diameter: ≥200mm for curved and circular work
  • Models: HDL-10A and HDL-15A

Typical Applications

HDL bevelers are the go-to for weld prep on structural steel, manway and nozzle openings on tanks, deburring and chamfering machined parts before coating, and touch-up work on assemblies too large or awkward to bring to a stationary machine. Compared with an angle grinder, the machined bevel is uniform, controlled, and repeatable from operator to operator.
