The DMM-900X puts two spindles on one traveling frame for 5-80mm plate, milling bevels up to 80mm total width at 0°-90°. The dual-spindle layout splits the cut between two heads, so wide, deep bevels that force a single-spindle machine into multiple passes finish in one — the throughput lever for pressure vessel and wind tower shops where bevel width, not seam length, sets the cycle time.

  • Compare against a single-spindle DMM on your widest bevel: if standard preps exceed ~35mm width, the second spindle starts paying for itself.
  • Single-bevel width per head runs 1-35mm; the 80mm maximum applies to combined preparation width.
  • Plate capacity is 5-80mm at 0°-90°, matching the 2070-class machines — the X buys width capacity, not thickness capacity.
