SKF-150L Capless Beveler Demo

This demonstration shows the SKF-150L Capless Beveling Machine working on both pipe and plate — the “capless” open-frame design is why it has a minimum pipe diameter of 114mm but no maximum at all.

What the Video Shows

Unlike chuck- or clamp-mounted bevelers that must encircle the pipe, the SKF-150L rides along the workpiece edge on guide rollers. That means the same 35kg machine bevels a 300mm pipe, a 3-meter vessel shell, or a flat plate edge with only a quick guide adjustment between jobs. The video shows the self-propelled feed pulling the machine steadily along the joint, producing a uniform machined bevel without operator force.
