This demonstration shows the Planetary Pipe Cutting Series making clean, burr-free cold cuts on thin-wall tubing — the kind of cut quality that stainless process lines and sanitary piping require, achieved without abrasive discs or flame.

What the Video Shows

The machine clamps onto the pipe OD while a saw blade orbits the pipe on a planetary path, slicing through the wall progressively rather than all at once. Because cutting force is distributed around the circumference, thin-wall pipe is not crushed or deformed, and the cut end comes off square with no burr, no discoloration, and no heat-affected zone. Several models add an optional beveling function, preparing the weld edge in the same clamping.
