KBM Rolling Shear Beveler Demo

This demonstration shows the KBM Rolling Shear Series beveling plate edges with rotating shear blades instead of milling cutters — the reason it runs dramatically quieter and cleaner than conventional plate bevelers.

What the Video Shows

As the machine feeds along the plate edge, a rotating shear wheel progressively slices the material away in a continuous curl rather than chipping it off. Listen to the sound level in the video: shearing produces a fraction of the noise of milling, and instead of a spray of hot chips there is a single coiled offcut. The finished bevel comes out smooth and burr-free, ready for welding without secondary grinding.
