DCM Stationary Series Selection Guide: Reading This Datasheet
Three DCM models split the 50-630mm range: DCM-325 (50-325mm), DCM-426 (108-426mm) and DCM-630 (325-630mm). All three cut and bevel simultaneously in one clamping — pipe goes in raw, comes out weld-ready — which is the number that matters when sizing a prefabrication line: one DCM cycle replaces a saw cut plus a separate beveling setup.
- Size to the largest pipe you run regularly, not the largest you might ever see — an oversized machine slows changeover on the small pipe that fills most of the schedule.
- The DCM-426 is the usual single-machine pick for process piping shops: its 108-426mm window covers 4"-16", where most spool work lives.
- Wall capacity runs 3-38mm across the series — sufficient for Sch 80 through the full OD range and Sch 160 in the mid sizes.
- High-mix shops pairing a DCM with an OD-mounted portable (e.g. SOC Series) keep the stationary machine on production runs and handle one-offs at the rack.
